Are you on the market for a barn to complete the look of your backyard? You must have many questions. We understand that this is a big investment and decision on your behalf. We want to be here for you through this process and make it as easy as possible for you. Here, we have compiled a list of the most popular questions we hear from our potential and current clients.

How long does a small barn last?

Usually, this will vary depending on the amount of maintenance and use the barn will go through. The average lifespan of a Miller’s Mini Barn is around 30 - 40 years.

What materials are Miller’s Mini Barns built out of?

We want our barns to stand out from other brands by lasting decades rather than the average of 15 years. For this to be possible, we use LP hard-pressed wood for the flooring and siding with our Miller’s Mini Barns branded paints to create the picture-perfect barn for you.

How do Miller's barns compare with something I can buy from a big box store?

Our barns are built a lot stronger by using quality materials. Our barns will last much longer, around 25 - 30 years, compared to the big box store barns that only last up to 15 years. We are built to last.

Is a permit required for installation?

On most occasions, a permit is required to be obtained through the city for a barn installation. While this may take up to 2 - 3 weeks, we are here to help you with any questions that might come up.

Is there a rent-to-own or a financing option I can take advantage of?

We are proud of our rent-to-own option. Our program can help make our barns much more affordable for you and reduce the hassle of having to save up for the barn of your dreams. If you are interested in hearing more about this, fill out our online form or give us a call at 812-966-4122.

What are the customization options I can utilize?

We have numerous customization options for our barns. Whether you are interested in adding windows, moving the doors, adding doors, changing the wall height, or anything else, we can make it happen.

Is there a warranty on Miller’s Mini Barns?

Yes! We offer a five-year warranty on the entire barn no matter which barn you end up choosing.

How long does it take for delivery and construction?

This will always vary depending on whether your barn is in short supply or already in stock at one of our multiple locations. Depending on the supply the average delivery for a barn is around 4 - 6 weeks.

How does the delivery process work?

We try our best to deliver the barn on site with our truck and trailer. If this is not possible, we do have a 2-wheeled shed mover that can be used to pull the smaller sheds into place. The larger sheds will have wheels put on the runners so they can be wheeled into place. Generally, we need about 1 inch of clearance between the shed and the fence to move the building. If neither of these options works, our last resort is building the barn on site. This will cost extra but the option is available.

Do I need to prepare the ground where the mini barn will be installed?

Yes. We do recommend 4 - 6 inches of gravel to be laid where the barn will be placed for optimal stability. Another popular option some people use is concrete blocks instead of gravel.

What is the average cost of a barn from Miller’s Mini Barns?

Our barns can range between $3,000 - $8,000 depending on the look, upgrades, and features you want your barn to include.
